When I was young, I had a dream to be a successful businesswoman. Therefore, I accomplished my bachelor classes in International Business in China. However, my goal has changed to be a teacher since I found I have a talent being a tutor while studying at Queens College in Flushing, NY. I have tutored in Mandarin to different age groups. Currently, I teach 5-12 grades Chinese at Livingston Chinese School in NJ. Honestly, I could always get some inspirations from those kids when I teach them Chinese. There is lots of enjoyable time between us. I love playing games. I also like yoga, traveling, cycling, and swimming. I enjoy making new friends. During my tutoring sessions, I draw upon my various travels or language learning experiences to enrich my students' learning. At the same time, I like to pick new and interesting topics to cultivate curiosity in my students in according to my student’s interests or demand. Depending on individual differences, I will choose different methods and styles to stimulate their curiosity. I would like to do my utmost to bring them all in conversation.
